Here is a sample script you can use on the call:

Hi, Rep. [say their name]! I’m [say your name], and I’m calling to urge you to vote NO on HB 2075, HB 1893, and HB 2536 during executive session tomorrow. Each of these bills attempts to police people’s bodies by forcing them into potentially dangerous situations and dictating where a trans Missourian can or cannot use the restroom.

One of the major takeaways that I recall from the hearing over these bills last week is that Rep. Laubinger admitted these bills were about men and predators “riding the coattails of people who are gender dysphoric.”

We already have laws in place to protect people from predators, which means these bills aren’t necessary. These bills, if they become law, create unnecessary situations for trans Missourians to be targeted, attacked, and harmed in unimaginable ways.

Because people are already protected by laws and the unnecessary harm this would cause Missourians, I’m urging you to vote NO on HB 2075, HB 1893, and HB 2536 during executive session tomorrow.
